There is no rose without a thorn.

A strong woman, is known by many names.  She loves herself  like any man would,  making her dangerous.  She knows what she wants, so she’s labeled difficult. Her skin is soft,  but her feathers  do not ruffle easily.  Her kisses are sweet,  but her teeth are sharp.  She loves without question,  but do not mistake her kindness for weakness. She can easily swallow you whole without hesitation.

Almost is a funny word, it leaves a distinct  taste behind. If we said what we meant,  held on a little longer,  or softened our words.  Maybe we could’ve made it,  so we’re left wondering. What if?

I enjoy good conversations and great coffee.  Rarely do I get to experience both, but when I do it’s quite magical.

Sometimes it takes someone else to show you your worth, for you to finally understand and acknowledge what’s healthy and what’s unhealthy, what to entertain and what to let go.

Being single has always been empowering to me, that was until you flashed your smile at me. Suddenly falling asleep in your arms didn’t feel like I was sacrificing my independence, instead just allowing myself be loved.

If you show me you don’t give a shit, I’ll show you I’m better at it. Even if it kills me.

Never apologize for leaving a situation to make yourself happier. Your health matters and your happiness is important.
