Cub: -says "do hermits get paid for promoting new features?" You'd have to ask other people, cause I'm somebody who doesn't take sponsorships ever. Specifically because I believe it introduces bias, and also people don't need more advertising in their lives than there already is. So I have never taken any sponsorships. The only ads I've shown on my channel, either on Twitch or on YouTube, is stuff I've created myself, for instance the plushies, you might be able to see them behind me- No, they're just out of frame. But- no you can see one, right there- [unintelligible] And, uh, some t-shirts and Hermitcraft stuff I was involved in designing. So, I don't really do advertisements, I think they're terrible and I hate seeing them in so many YouTube videos these days, like sponsorships for brands, that quite honestly, are not really that good, like all sorts of terrible VPNs, all sorts of shady games and stuff, so, I do not do any advertisement like that, including for Minecraft stuff. I just don't do it. I just hate it, so much. It's just the worst. It's contributing to a culture of advertising in the creator space that I think is harmful for the creator space itself and toxic to the viewers. So, yeah. I don't do any sponsorships and I've never taken a sponsorship from Microsoft for anything. The only thing I've done that Microsoft paid for is, I got a free flight to Boston in 2018, to speak on Minecraft, like as part of Minecraft Earth in 2018, and that's pretty much it. That's pretty much it. Which I thought was pretty fair, y'know. They put you in a hotel and they give you a free flight, which I thought was pretty reasonable, so yeah. So yeah. I don't really take sponsorships, unless I'm directly involved in making the thing, like with the plushies and some of the merchandise I've made. Otherwise, I don't get it, I just don't get it honestly. I really just don't get it. So yeah, there you go. So you'd have to ask them, the people who do take sponsorships.
