i might just be amped up/pissed off but their support of rapists and abusers often feels more than just selfish to me (i.e. who cares what type of person this man is/what they do privately, i want to enjoy their talents separately from that/they are my friend/brother, etc). it feels actively vindictive and stubborn and indulgently hateful of women. they don't just not care about the dignity of women, they're resentful of the idea of it bc of how much they've sucked ass at having relationships with women and then had to literally pay for it. and it disgusts me.
