I'm drawing so much lately, what the-

Drew one of my babas, the Fair Lady Death, Freyda, for Artfight. This year's theme works surprisingly well with her aesthetic.

So I had a wacky dream the night before and made a doodle based on it yesterday. I couldn’t see myself, I only knew that I had a mechanical claw hand and a sword, so everything else was just me working with the context and stuff. I did get a brief glimpse of their face, which they do have under the helmet.

The dream itself was pretty neat, imo. I was a goober that was pretty sweet and innocent, but then I ended up in an alternate timeline/reality that sucked, which was also very futuristic and steampunk, in a way, almost like Zahn(did I spell that right?) from Arcane/LoL. That, mixed with the fact that my character apparently had a fatal heart condition, forced my character to become the goober above.

(Part of the reason I get them any mechanical bits is because of their health issues- like, they moved really fast and were quite strong, so I felt like there had to be something helping them with that. The green tube stuff is meant to help them rejuvenate or something as needed)

Anyway, there was seemingly a time skip in the dream, because it hard cut from sweet and innocent goober to them fighting other creatures in the area. They fought this one guy that they seemed to have beef with, so I choose to believe that dude played a big role in them becoming what they are in the present. They beat him, and then my brain decided to be cool, cause they ripped his heart out. And then in was later implied that they used his heart as a replacement for their dying one. Like, that’s such a power move. I choose to say that he did something horrible to them, and that’s their big way of getting back at them.

So I've been cooking up a concept that's basically "What if different rogue AI-type characters were gods instead?" or something of the like. Basically, I take out the futuristic/sci-fi and turn it into fantasy. Simulations are more like dreams or illusions, electricity is magic instead, or it's wielded magically, idk. Cars are noble steeds, guns are probably magic too, maybe with crystals, since crystals are used for things in this, so why not magic guns?

If you couldn't tell, it leans towards medieval Europe vibes. Did you know there are knights? There are knights. One of them tried to eat everything once. It was very funny.

Idk, I'm still fleshing things out lol. I just think it's neat. Has anyone else done something like this? I don't think anyone has, but you never know.

I should probably mention that they all technically exist in the same universe too, just different planets? So either humans are everywhere, or I have to design separate species... yeah...

I'm calling it the "Renegade AU", or just "Renegade" right now, since that also technically means rogue, but is, like, cooler. Idk man, I just got here.

Anyway, here we have Aether(Skynet from Terminator), the Verdant Glutton(the Machine King from The Matrix), and the Lord of Puppets(the Entity/Rabbit's Foot from M:I). Plus an OC I made for the narrative, Cron, who's in baby jail because Aether basically kidnapped them, and is a time lord or smth. And there's a lil doodle of one of the T-something-or-others, I can't berember.
