a hometown is a type of dead wife

one of the things actually living in europe did to me was develop a strong cultural identity as an american and especially for the parts of american culture that are truly unique to Black american & indigenous influence and mexican influence on california (which is where im from) and i think it's nice that people coming for the world cup are seeing some of that stuff too.

also i dont like when people say people from california and theyre specifically talking about LA. those of us from the bay area or WORSE the central valley are bad in different and more creative ways
