Discovered and Binged Jetlag the Game this week just in time for a new season to be release. Thought I'd draw a post card of my second favorite season. (the first one is australia) and I might use the drawings to make stickers later.
(This is the first time I posted non-furry art here, not counting landscape paintings, since I was in the SvTFOE fandom in 2020 ☠)
Reminiscing about Gumption Did a rewatch of ducktales. Didn't think I'd get interested in the love life of a 100+ year old capitalist duck, but by golly did they do it. Shame Goldie was in so little episodes.

Oops, reached the limit of images per post with the last page. Guess i'll have to add Afterword in text form: Been a while since I've done something in comic form. So yeah, initially "Muse" started out as a self-proposed challenge to do a short comic story within 2 weeks of production. Not 2 weeks straight, just a total of 2 weeks' worth of free days, majority of which I could spend on it. And as far as writing and storyboarding got, I didn't really have much problem with that, finishing up both at around a week. I already sketched down character designs and had a story structure ready from the conceptual step of the process. But as I moved on to sketching, I slowed down my work on it paradoxically enough 'cause i didn't want to waste any free days I had when I felt like I wouldn't do much progress with, so those days wouldn't count to the arbitrary 2 weeks limit I gave myself. The limit being my way of trying to handle my perfectionism issues, going with more concept-arty quality than properly cleaned arts. And even then, in the end I ended up having some specific parts cleaned up, such as the final page. Easy to say that I failed my challenge in terms of the rules I gave myself, firstly I extended production time to 3 and then 4 weeks and around week 3 when I was around halfway into finishing the comic, I lost count of how many days I've given to the production of it. And don't get me wrong, I'm glad I gave more time and attention to a story which I was interested to write for a while now, had this idea for years. Don't think I've ever been as excited when finishing work on a comic before. This was an enjoyable rest from the exhaustive production of ELoNR's second chapter. Thanks for giving it a read. Fool's errand~ Art I drew as a decal for a split mechanical keyboard I'm planning on building then theming it after the webcomic Lackadaisy.
I'm really obsessed with making things smaller. next one on the chopping block is my keyboard. I already have a 70% keyboard, but that's still too big for me. I'm looking at the Corne keyboard. a small 36/42 key keyboard.
I'm theming it lackadaisy with Rocky and Mitzi art that I made adorning both of the splits. I'm planning to do a method where you put a thin layer of laser printer toner (which basically is just very fine black plastic powder) on top of the keyboard key, then slightly melt and bond the design with a laser engraver.
Still choosing and scouring out the components. but really looking forward to etching the design.

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Downtime.
I finished the book "Farewell to Arms" recently. All the time I was reading it; my image of Henry and Catherine in my head is that of Elsa and Bobby from Lackadaisy. still hung up how sad the story left me. Wanted to draw them in more happy times.

Opening volley Stopped posting for a while cuz of anxiety. felt good again to post some art. There's this image I always love from the lackadaisy gallery "Book sketches" a big collage of sketches of the characters arranged in a grid of sorts. I had an idea to draw something like that, and laser etch that in leather I use on Leatherbound sketchbooks I do as a hobby. I'm not remotely as fast or good as Tracy in drawing. So it gonna be awhile. This is the opening volley of sorts.
