I stumbled on your series like yesterday and im literally obsessed. love your work! super weird question or ask bc it’s your work and you can do whatever you want, but could you maybe leave the series to be only Peter&Tony? Like without any additional romantic relationship between him and Pepper or them having a second child (aka Morgan)? Just all the fics I see, see Peter as a first child and then they always add Morgan (I love her, I really do, but it just makes the dynamic between Tony and Peter more tense? iykyk sorry if this is super weird) again, amazing work!

i'm just gonna word vomit a bit bc ive gotten comments over the years talking about the way i've depicted my characters and aspects of this story and instead of continuing to just chat about it to Anon and my sisters, imma use this q to ramble:
i started this series (way back when) as a way to explore writing Tony and Peter; since prior to this series, aside from a few half-baked fic ideas, i'd never actually sat down and wrote a fic about the two of them.
which is why the series, and the characters, took a darker(? idk what other word to use) interpretation and spin on the story— because prior to this, I'd been writing horror and was writing a severely unhealthy and abusive father-son dynamic for two other characters in a completely different fandom. so this series was me trying to readjust and ease into healthy-adjacent father-son dynamics
the goal of the series was to cover all the tropes that I wanted to; at least all the tropes that i could without changing the universe (soulmate, wings, etc.). Then it turned into my experimental series: if i wanted to experiment with something that I hadn't written before, I grabbed these two clowns and started writing.
as i got more comfortable, I started branching out and writing the two of them in other fics not in this series. but, truthfully, most of the fics not in the series (that werent a gift, or a request) were vent fics.
i started going through a rough time, and even started wondering if maybe I should stop sharing my works— because it had stopped being fun (writing and posting). it was nerve wracking, i was paranoid someone was going to tell me I was writing them wrong, their dynamic was off, this wasn't the standard irondad and I didn't belong.
i've gotten better since then, and with the help of a great friend, i've remembered WHY i started writing all those years ago, and ive actually started to LIVE by my motto of "write for yourself and no one else"
and to finally answer the question that started this post:
I don't know if morgan will appear in this series. at this moment in time: i dont think i'll write her, because I dont wanna deal with the whole thanos thing. i kinda wanna keep writing in this little happy time period before things go to shit.
But even if she does, if i decide Pepper and Tony should get back together: the focus of this series is and always will be Peter and Tony.
ive got other fics posted of Peter and morgan being tony's kids. I'm working on a fic of Peter & Pepper. etc. (if I wanna explore something other than these two clowns, i just create a new fic and start exploring.)
anyway: sorry for the long post! this series will be Peter and Tony focused, rest assured
