okay SO. it started off as on offhand joke I think between @manchestermauler @viceroymarx and @butchnoelyg about noel leaking slime (average gcest post) which quickly snowballed into a collectively constructed au in which noel is magically transformed into a snail. it became something of an instant niche meme for like two weeks and expanded into related scenarios like liam turning into a snail instead or both of them turning into snails. the real climax of this was when a screenshot of one of these posts ended up on twitter. that particular post was of a fake tiktok screenshot featuring anaïs complaining about her dad building an entire room in their house for one (1) singular snail (the implication being that its liam). the people on oasistwt, however, were not aware of snoasis because they don't come over here to incest pervert city, so a notable portion of them thought the screenshot was real and genuinely believed that the REAL noel gallagher remodeled his house for a private snail enclosure. obviously this is hilarious. and apparently there are people who just never got fact-checked and still believe it
