"deny, but what's the loss to die?" while being a housecat maybe meant that the life of being trapped with the same things every single day meant that there was no point in living anymore since everything was the same? especially with being "careless and reckless with her life" as a housecat since there was no danger or excitement when trapped inside forever and she didn't like that life. And then the "satisfaction adorns and thrives through her next eight lives" as a streetcat follows up on that with a "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back" type thing

Streets are dangerous and the signs and symbols used in the video are meant to be controlling to keep you safe but we can see Iroha dancing and jumping around during them and singing about how she cherishes the cuts and pain because pain comes with being free and that is better than being a forever curious cat stuck inside

Especially since she keeps talking about being exactly herself and exuberantly free

And then later with the "I fear it wont be long till the time calls, and when I go I wanna know that it was worth it all" and "if it hurts I know its worth it to be someone" I think its definitely about being free with your identity/life and not caring what others say even if it gets you hurt in the end because it was her own choice to be free and experience it

also I really like the way her eye patch fell off at the end and kind of mirrored ego renegade boy's bandage...

I think of it like a progression of ERB (like all songs of this album). Where Len has more of a focus on the pain and backlash from stranding out in his community, streetcat feels more like living in the consequences of being excluded and finding satisfaction and hope despite, and sometimes because of, the danger. It also has an interesting contrast with Human with how it talks on identity feeling like fate (it fits me like the stars above) (to be exactly only me/the things that I was always meant to be) wheras Miki felt that breaking free from fate brought her identity. For both, though, the act of realizing themselves seems inevitable.
