These sliders of Teriyaki Chicken Rice Burgers are a unique take on traditional burgers. The teriyaki chicken patty is served on sushi rice with fresh vegetables and a spicy mayo sauce on top. It tastes great and is only a few bites long.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce. 2 cups cooked sushi rice. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup sliced cucumber. 1/2 cup sliced red onion. 12 small slider buns. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: Put the ground chicken, teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Take the mixture and shape it into little burger patties. As soon as the grill or pan is hot, add the chicken patties and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked. To make a spicy mayo sauce, mix the Sriracha sauce and mayonnaise in a different bowl. Cut the slider buns in half and toast them just a bit on the grill or in a toaster. To put the sliders together, put some cooked sushi rice on the bottom half of each bun. Put a chicken patty on top of the rice and then drizzle some spicy mayo over it. Shred lettuce, slice cucumber, and add red onion on top. Add sesame seeds on top to make it look nice. Put one half of the top bun on top of each slider. If necessary, use a toothpick to hold it in place. Serve your Teriyaki Chicken Rice Burger Sliders right away and enjoy them!
