These BBQ lemon butter prawn sticks are full of flavor and would be great at a BBQ in the summer. When lemon, garlic, and butter are mixed together, they bring out the natural sweetness of the prawns and make them unbelievably tasty.
Ingredients: 500g large prawns, peeled and deveined. 1/2 cup 115g unsalted butter, melted. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper, to taste. Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: Preheat the BBQ grill to medium-high heat. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Thread prawns onto soaked bamboo skewers. Brush the prawns generously with the lemon butter mixture, coating both sides. Place the prawn skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque, and have grill marks. Brush with more lemon butter mixture while grilling, if desired. Remove from the grill and serve hot.
