It's a Stone Luigi, You Didn't Make It

In the WarioWare: Get It Together microgame "Splatoon 2", Judd and Li'l Judd from the eponymous game appear.

Despite looking exactly like their 3D models in the source game, in WarioWare they are actually just looping animated 2D graphics, the equivalent to animated GIFs (extracted from the files here). Due to the fixed camera angle in the microgame, the difference between real 3D models and 2D animations is impossible to discern.

Top: extremely rare officially licensed 1998 Mario Party "Toad with visible legs" trading card.

Bottom: this artwork was used for the cover of the game's Japanese manual with the caption "WELCOME HAPPY MINI GAMES", and has also gained notoriety due to a commonly shared community caption from the Super Mario Wiki reading "Toad very excited (with his legs showing)".

Top: textures on various walls in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door contain small wanted posters for three criminals: a Goomba, a Koopa Troopa and a Boo.

Bottom: the Art Gallery in the Nintendo Switch version of the game provides concept art for these characters. This reveals that the Boo is nearly identical to Bootler, Lady Bow's butler from Paper Mario (and who has a small cameo in this game as well), having the same closed eyes, mustache, and pale green color. Assuming this is indeed him, this implies that Bootler was a wanted criminal either in the past or even in the current day.

According to backstory divulged by a Toad NPC from Paper Mario, Bootler used to "travel the world with Goompa and Koopa Koot" in his youth, which the Goomba and Koopa in the artwork may be intended to be young versions of. This is, however, not entirely likely as Koopa Koot has a turquoise shell while this Koopa has a red shell; though shells are exchangeable and it might in fact be the same character.

It was recently discovered that the Spin Dash move from Paper Mario has actually been there, unused, in the files of Super Paper Mario all along. The move is functional (as a move activated by Dashell, merely deactivated in-game) and requires rewriting only one line of code to insert back into the game.
