This blog started out as a Pokemon version of Peter Pan with my own twists- I've decided to rebrand it away from that to basically give myself more freedom to do what I want.

It's currently undergoing rework & general cleaning in the background.

Many characters on this blog are Darkrai or Faerai (a Darkrai variant within my world build). Darkrai in my world building are typically aquatic by default.

I’ll be jumping between 3 major groups of characters: The Lost Boys, the Neverland Merfolk, and (Pre-Neverland) Peter’s Family.

I've got a lot planned and I'm so very excited to slowly show you all what's in store :3c In the meantime, these new friends are here to celebrate this milestone with you! Mythical Pokemon are very important to the lore of this blog, so the plan from here on out is that every milestone celebration on this blog will be a design giveaway of 2-3 Mythics, until I've given away a design for each one that exists currently! ^_^

[Pan looks down at Wednesday and the baby dragon from the upper end of a palm tree, sliding a claw along its trunk as he spun around it to face them.]

Pfffttt that wyrdeer is scared of a *baby dragon*?! Why? What are they going to do?

[He laughs and spins around the trunk casually, his claw hooking him to it in the movement.]

[The Zygarde takes no offense to the question, the strange little Darkrai was a child after all.]

Just as a young fairy may be terribly injured by just a little bit of steel or poison, while an adult may be able to handle it better... the Wyrdeer is... unwell. They have always been weak to dragons, no matter the kind.

In its state, if it were to be injured in this form...

Well... it would be very, very, catastrophically bad.

Mod Thoughts on Blog Development

Basically I’m thinking about “debranding” what I’d been working on for this blog from Peter Pan.

I’ve been thinking about how I’ve been able to run with the newer blog @sonder-palms and be relatively more consistent with askblogging than I have in years. And I think it’s because I feel less like I have to fit my things “in a box”, because I guess there’s that sense of how people will probably have expectations from a story they already know. And I think that’s a piece of why I keep dying every time I try to move something forward that isn’t an askblog event lol

And so much of what I’d built for my worldbuilding has largely been my own anyways. I largely take themes and ideas from the Peter Pan for it. So if/ when I go through with this, it’ll still be obvious that I took inspiration from Peter Pan related things. But I think this blog will thrive more if I try to make it my own.

Peter and a lot of other characters here (including the unnamed character in the magi event) started out as sonas or ocs unrelated to Peter Pan. And at some point over the years, I played around with Peter Pan stuff as an AU, and it evolved into the Main Thing.

Peter’s name isn’t changing, or at least I’m not going to rush changing a bunch of stuff like that. I think I need to sit with my overall things, and see what direction I’d want to go story-wise if I’m not tied to an already established story.

I also wouldn’t feel “as bad” if I focused on merfolk especially. Part of me felt a little bad because there aren’t any known mermaid characters from Peter Pan, so it’s basically largely all my own oc stuff. But I’d still rotate between land and underwater characters on the blog

Neverland exists in my worldbuild as a fairy-type sanctuary, but I may change the blog name if/when I figure out a new name for the setting. As it evolves

Not to say I wouldn’t draw anything Peter Pan related anymore, but I might put it back as an AU thing, rather than the main thing for the blog

It seems Agatha has grown more comfortable leaving the shoreline over the years. She mingles and makes exchanges with Oscar- occasionally wandering the area on her own here and there before drifting back towards him.

Meanwhile, a subtle clattering can be heard on top of one of the dining tables. Something small and hard to see, but the occasional flash of green and warm light passes over the food. Sharp, golden eyes pierce through the display of trays and plates, before disappearing again. A fairy aura emits from the creature.

This has been overdue for some years now but I'm much happier with this new ref. Really wanted to make him easier to draw repeatedly for the askblog while keeping elements he's had before I started associating him with Peter Pan stuff.

For at least a year I'd been fighting on whether to change his hair color to purple because I really liked it, but he's had white hair Forever. I think this is a good change though.

(@neverlandfaerai) Akova shrunk away from the giant Scolipede at first, keeping to the bushes and trees. But those berries certainly caught their attention- they didn’t get that large in this plane on their own.

Working up weary courage, the little whimsicott popped into the open before Vixie.

“Those are quite large berries you have. How do you make them become… like that?”

"Oh! Hello there little one."

Vixie would gently turn and give a sweet smile to the Whimsicott

"Well, I actually grow these myself, I have a large garden that I grow them in, as for how theyre so large, I had to call in a few favors from some acquaintances when I started growing too large for normal berries to sate me, they helped me modify some berry seeds to grow larger and more nutritious, since I'd starve if I only ate normal berries."

She would out a seed for an oran berry, nearly a full foot tall

"This seed comes from these berries, and in turn grow larger berries, though I try to keep them within a certain range of size, and the local pokemon help to keep the soil fertile and watered."
