🔄Do you let clangen fully control names, or do you interfere? Where do you get inspiration for names for warriors and kittypets?
To date, I've interfered twice with a name in this clan. Once was because of a VERY unfortunate auto-generated warrior suffix, the other was changing a prefix a little to the left (not the real name, but think Spot- to Spotted-). In general I like to let the game do its thing with naming! Unless something really doesn't make sense, I like thinking about what it could say about the cat or their parents that they're named that way.
⏩ How far ahead do you play in clangen? How far ahead do you draw/write?
As of right now I've played/have notes up to moon 17. At the rate I'm making the comic, I have to ban myself from playing super far ahead (even though I WANT TO SO BADDD) because some of this stuff is gonna take ages to get to already! For writing, I have an idea of what's going to happen all through that time, but I put pages up pretty much when they're finished. I'm impatient u-u'
❔Do you have any suggestions for people looking to start their own clangen blogs?
I've been wanting to make a clangen blog for ages and I truly just started this comic on a whim. The newest update was just a good excuse. My advice is do whatever you can to keep this sustainable and fun for you! More of what you like, less of what you don't. First and foremost it's supposed to be fun, why do something you're not having fun with?
