Death Watch and Jaster Mereel are in a deadly stand-off. They are about to kill Jaster when the Jedi show up out of nowhere to disrupt everything.
Jocasta Nu: "Hello. I am Head Archivist in Training Jedi Master Jocasta Nu of the Jedi Archive's Artifact Retrieval Team. We are here to reclaim an artifact that was stolen from us a few years ago."
The other Jedi start handing out flimsiplast sheets to every Mandalorian present, including the other True Mandalorians that start arriving after noticing that something must be wrong with Jaster. One of the Mandalorians runs over to care for his wounds.
Jocasta Nu: "These Documents include a copy of Jedi Master Tarre Vizsla's last will, which clearly declares that their lightsaber - or as you call it, 'the darksaber' - is to be given to the Jedi Order upon their death, where it shall remain until the crystal calls to another Jedi. As that has not happened, your removal of it from our archives is unlawful."
Master Nu holds out her hand.
Jocasta Nu: "Please hand it over, so that we may return Master Vizsla's lightsaber where it belongs. If you do not comply we will have to use force."
Tor Vizsla scowls at the Jedi and signs to the, still very confused, members of Death Watch. They all drop their flimsiplast sheets and ready their weapons.
Tor Vizsla: "The Darksaber is mine. You can try to take it from me, but you won't succeed."
Tor Vizsla lights the darksaber and moves to attack, while Death Watch starts shooting.
Before he can even get close to her, Jocasta Nu takes the lightsaber rifle from her back and shoots him in the troat. Tor Vizsla drops dead. (So do some other Death Watch members that were cought by blasterbolts the Jedi reflected.)
Death Watch is stunned silent again.
Master Nu walks over to Tor Vizsla's dead body and picks up the darksaber. She brushes some dirt off of it, before returning to the other Jedi and dropping it into one of the pockets the Jedi presumably got all of their flimsiplast from.
The Jedi bow politely to the remaing group(s) of Mandalorians.
Jocasta Nu: "As we now have the artifact we came for, we will be taking our leave. If you have anymore questions or require assistance, feel free to contact the Jedi Archive's help-line. If you have any concerns or want to contest the retrieval, please contact the Jedi Temple's legal team and don't bother the archival staff. The contact information for both is included in the information booklet we handed out. May the force be with you."
The Jedi dissappear as suddenly as they appeared, leaving two groups of very confused Mandalorians behind.
The True Mandalorians, who had just been silently watching the exchange, take their chance and capture the remaining members of Death Watch.
Jaster Mereel survives and the True Mandalorians manage to defeat what is left of Death Watch in the Galaxy. Galidraan does not happen. Jaster annoys the Jedi Archive's staff, but he doesn't do anything that would allow them to ban him.
Somehow this saves the Galaxy.
