they have their whole tag, a lot of tags actually, but a lot of them choose to use a tag that is meant to include all the people the narrative can.

then we open the reader insert tag and there’s a blonde skinny blue eyed girl, okay 😂

Honestly, it doesn’t even make sense to browse that tag on AO3 anymore, it’s completely flooded.

i have a theory that even if readers created a new tag just for themselves, those writers would still take it over, because they can’t stand seeing something that belongs to us.

just a reminder that doing this goes against AO3’s rules (Misleading or inaccurate tagging, Tag misuse, Rating misclassification, Improper categorization, Content affecting search and filtering etc)
