Hi! My name is Dru, my pronouns are she/her and this is my introduction post! I’ve been holding onto this blog for a while now and slowly dipping my toe in the writeblr community -  so I’ve decided it’s time I introduce myself!

I’ve been writing for nearly a decade and I’m always excited to make new writing friends. This blog will mainly have what inspires my writing, my love for queer lit and probably writing memes. I’m hoping to sometimes post original content too, like a queer lit graphic or a snippet of one of my stories, but probably not right away.

I recently discovered queer lit. Also I’m catching up with a lot of queer shows.

I’ve been writing for eight years now. 

The stuff I write is usually long. I’m trying to finish my long stories right now, but sometimes I still write short stories.

My writing style is a mix of writing banter and writing poetically. 

My favorite genres to write are romance and sci-fi. 

My favorite themes to write are identity exploration and coming of age.

My favorite non-writing part of writing is the world building and character obsessing. 

My favorite writing part of writing is writing dramatic, emotional scenes and the banter between characters. 

My favorite genre to read is romance. ...Let me be self indulgent.
