llama matriarch

Got my birdhouses back, then finished the wall hanging, threw the last four pumpkins, and started some soup mugs.

Yay light green is done :) started priming the door because I’m procrastinating around the fridge. At least the stupid white shoe molding makes sense now, I’ll eventually replace it in the wood panel room. But now I can finally start putting stuff up there for storage/display!

I have laundry, I have art to finish for someone, I want to finish painting the kitchen (started the green yesterday but i need to go get another gallon of primer too), I need to vacuum (and mop but I need to finish painting), i need to also sweep my basement but its still a little messy bc i have LOTS of pottery to clean up before november (i may try to knock out grinding off wadding today or tomorrow so i can continue organizing), i have some old directors style chairs my parents gave me (that are easily older than me) to sand and repaint for my porch but those could wait, i need to mow and edge my yard and get branches in the bin (and either finish cutting the huge branch or save it to throw in the new kilns in a few months)… realistically some of that can wait but I’m tired of my executive function getting in the way.

Got all my ornaments and shot glasses back (only one shot glass cracked so I may make a few more), made some more pumpkins, and brought in some mushrooms I made of my slab scraps. I had used a kohiki slip that has a deflocculant in it, which isn’t what you want in reclaim (it will make the clay particles repel against each other keeping it from firming up properly), so I used it up instead of throwing it away. Planning to get the rest of the pumpkins made, some more little things, and maybe some soup mugs on Saturday. Aiming to get some more inventory geared up for my big November market. :)
