Bring Me Skywalker

"One moment, Josh!" Josh stopped at the staircase, turning to see old Mrs. Johanssen approaching. "If you will not be taught... you will be destroyed!" With that, she raised her hands and blasted Josh with bolts of lightning.

"Aghk!" Josh staggered to the side into the staircase, leaning back as the bolts pushed at him. They stopped for a moment, leaving him dazed. "Ugh..."

"Young fool! Only now do you understand... never correct your teacher's spelling!" She sent another blast at the other railing as Josh reached for it. The bolts hit the railing with a bright flash, dazzling Josh before they bounced off and hit his hand.

"Oof!" Josh was flung back, small sparks traveling up his arm and to his now spiky hair, all over him as he swayed dizzily, blinking spots in his vision.

Mrs. Johanssen blasted him again with a torrent of lightning. "Ugh!" Josh yelped, flailing backwards as he desperately held on for dear life, his body roll and slipping feet making for a lovely dance.

Finally, she stopped and nodded. "I think we understand each other," she chirped, making her way back to class.

Josh groaned, straightening himself up and shaking off the last few sparks. He made a note never to correct Mrs. Johannsen again.

on a funnny little note, a Youtube commenter once said on a video of the scene that "these aren't effects, older people actually can just shoot lightning out of their hands at annoying youngsters". lol

so I responded, "it's true! odd how no one talks about it. back in high school, my husband corrected his teacher during class, and after the bell, she caught him in the stairwell and blasted him for a minute! had him hanging on for dear life like Luke!" :D

Later on, my husband was like, "why was I the victim of your anecdote and not you?" hehe

I mean, hey, those amazing writhes and twists and grimaces can um... like with a saxophone and a little candlelight instead of force lightning come off totally different! 😁
