It's the first time that she's engaged with him outside of Senate Committees in more than a decade. His mere presence disorientates her and then he decides to provoke her into a debate. But underneath the barbs and political accusations is a history she wants to forget. Krennic wants the opposite and sets out to achieve exactly that. One dance is all it takes.

The Right Call

The phone call comes as a surprise, the caller ID catching her off guard. She stares at it longer than intended and by the time she’s even considered whether to answer the call, the ringing has stopped and the phone falls silent. Mon barely gives it a second thought. Why should she? They haven't spoken in over ten years. She's surprised he still has her number, that she hadn't deleted his after that last conversation.

And then he's standing on her doorstep as though those ten years never happened.

finished building mon’s limospeeder with legos! i’ve never built a lego set before and they’re equal parts fun and frustrating. the one drawback is that there’s no way to quickly get cassian in and out of the driver’s seat without partially disassembling the roof portion, so they’ll just have to both be in the back seat. 👹
