Even time I want to rant, I type out this bit long text post, and then I delete it all. Because who the fuck cares about my personal life? Nobody. I'd literally be talking to a wall.

And then I remember that staying silent about your emotional state is a coping mechanism of Childhood Emotional Neglect. A child whose emotional needs were never met believes their voice doesn't matter, their needs are a burden, and it's just easier to cater to someone else's emotional state than their own.

Which, as an adult, can lead to hyper-independence (never asking for help and refusing comfort), intimacy sabotage (keeping friends/family/lovers at a distance for fear of vulnerability or abandonment), and chronic emptiness (persistent loneliness). Also, Alexithymia, a severe difficulty describing one's own emotions but also difficulty connecting physical sensations with those emotions.

So... I should say that I am... upset... with... my sister... and actually let that exist on the Internet.
