Castelia actually looks quite noble and pretty by Irona's standards! She's a beautifully polished marble statue with soft, rounded curls, and a very graceful walking gait. And the funniest part is that she isn't anything close to noble blood!

Castelia was actually born closer to the outer edges of Irona, in a small blacksmith shop owned and worked at by her Mom, and once she was old enough she worked there too! She'd haul metal, go to the market, help get water from the nearest well, she didn't care too much for keeping her hands clean, though she did enjoy being tidy.

She's actually older than Crownsworth, despite what the King's grey hair will tell you she's three years older than him! They actually met when Crownsworth was 15 and Castelia was 18. Crownsworth had slipped and fallen into the lake near her home(the blacksmith shop) and Castelia, being near and able, ran into the shallow edge of the water and fished the young prince out before he could drown, thankfully he was unharmed other than getting a bit soggy!

Though, after that little incident, the young crown prince was nothing less than utterly and completely smitten with the tall, gorgeous statuette who'd saved his life. And over the next few years she'd continue catching him in the corner of her sight, considering he took nearly any chance to go visit the little community of his future kingdom where she lived. And once he was finally 18, he started to try and properly court her mostly with little but lavish gifts, as he didn't know what service he could possibly give to such a lovely and competent lady.

At the start her mom absolutely did NOT approve, and the young prince was ran out of the smithy with a cast iron pan SEVERAL times during his earliest periods of courting the beautiful lady he'd one day be lucky enough to call his wife. Thankfully Crownsworth was stubborn (and stupid) enough to keep coming back until Castelia's mom was worn down enough to accept him, as long as he didn't touch anything in the forge without explicit permission.

Though, I do believe that is plenty on their love story for now, or else this post is just going to become about exclusively that XD!

Castelia actually has two moms! One of them is the rough, but extremely kind, granite statue who runs the blacksmith shop, and the other is a kind, though very intimidating, seraphim who she gets her height from.

She also has small, fluffy wings on the sides of her head, though she usually keeps them tucked under her hair because they're quite sensitive and they get ruffles in the wind far too easily.

Although I originally drew Castelia with off-white hair that matched her skin like a real marble statue, she now has reddish hair, which is where Suitor got it from! She's also surprisingly the side where Amore got his firey hair from, it comes from the seraphim genes.

Also a little fun fact technically not about Castelia, but concerning her: Crownsworth is strong enough to scoop her up despite the size difference.

Although she's typically very calm Castelia can get very violent when it comes to protecting the people she cares about, angels never said "be not afraid" for no reason after all! She's also one of the main reasons her sons are very respectful to women, their mother and grandmothers are some of the scariest people they know, women are to be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.
