Ok I know I love to make fun of them but the Ten Men are legitimately so frightening with Kate. Of course there's the overt interactions - but when the Ten Man at the hotel calls her "Katie Love," when McCracken calls her "kitty," when Crawlings calls her "Katie-Kins" - do you see? The nicknames are simply way too close to Katie-Cat for comfort and it feels incredibly uncomfortable subconsciously, even if I didn't notice it until now.

There's the Ten Man at the hotel telling Kate I was right about you, ducky, you do bite and then Milligan telling her You sounded awfully fierce, by the way not a minute later. There's Milligan playfully bopping her on the head with a roll of paper and then Hertz flicking her on the head with a gold pen that hits like a lead pipe, and then smiling playfully at her. There's Milligan playfully telling the children Let's do buckle up! after he rescues them and bundles them into a stolen police car, and Garrotte playfully telling them Don't forget to buckle up! after they kidnap the children and bundle them into a soon-to-be fake ambulance. There's McCracken's general amusement with her snark and banter. There's his compliment of her talents through a comparison to his own men - I'm impressed, plucky! What a trick! Why, you have more talent than most of my men! - and later Milligan echoing this nearly word-for-word about his own agents in Riddle of Ages - I hope you know how proud of you I am. You're already as skilled as many of my agents - and even more skilled than some. There's Crawlings grabbing and playfully swinging Kate's hand like a loving father while he's marching them to Mr. Curtain. Some of this is just due to their faux-friendly persona, but it's disgustingly close to how Milligan treats Kate and I hate every single second of it.

watching the new taskmaster and jumping up and down bc one of the tasks is literally reynie's lightbulb logic puzzle. wish i was a contestant just so i could jump up and down screaming on camera going I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS AAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!! within two seconds. when kumail started figuring it out, almost, i was losing my shit hooting and hollering.
