Bringing this headcanon to the table again

We know CCRP technical isn't really doing anything, like they mostly use the workers there for experiments, Paul clones and Bill getting bottle imps for example (Nick confirmed that, and if you remember the livestream and timestamp then lmk, I wanna see what he said word for word relating to that)

My headcanon is that Mr. Davidson is fully in the know what happens at CCRP and his role is more of a babysitter than a boss. He looks after the workers and reports back to higher ups. When they need someone as a test subject, he opens a file and looks who is best suited for whatever they need, or sends them to a "mandatory work check up" where they're evaluated

Most departments in CCRP aren't actually real, but just filled with people the company/Charles Coven can use. The benefits are amazing and they don't actually get in trouble for not doing work, hence why no one leaves (especially Ted and why he hasn't been fired, lol)

Aka Mr. Davidson is evil and the only workers at CCRP that are real are the lab people/"bosses". I'm not saying Mr. Davidson is putting on a silly guy persona as a disguise, he's just like that but also knows what's happening

(This all also intertwines with one of my Goat Ted AUs (I have multiple))

Things suddenly get worse when her hometown of Hatchetfield is now being affected by this uptick in crime

Yess!! Okay so you know how Jon and George created Realm DND together, well back in summer 2022, Jon was on George Primavera's podcast Hero Club during the season ClusterMuck! (Each season is a new campaign with a whole different story, characters, and setting.) ClusterMuck is a sci-fi adventure story set on a swamp planet with a ton of cool characters, and everyone is after a mysterious briefcase like a Quentin Tarantino film. It's on YouTube, told in seven episodes. Jon played CRSU-98455, aka CRiS! I love him so much! 🥹 Jon is in episodes 1, 3, 5, and 7. CRiS is an android that works for, like, a space Amazon Prime. XD The first four episodes are in backwards order to how they were played, and it's SUCH a great mystery!

In the first episode, the main characters find CRiS buried in the swamp, shut down, and horribly damaged. 😭 The way the McGurk twins befriend him and give him purpose is so touching! In episode three, we get a flashback to how CRiS's day started, and it's SO cool to hear Jon's voice acting! His voice is so smooth as an android. Later on, he gets hit by electricity and malfunctions, so his voice is more staticky. The malfunction also leads him to question his life purpose, and Jon does such an amazing job as an android going through an existential crisis. 🥹 He has moments full of wonder, panic, fear, and friendship with his little drone buddy Tod and his new friends the McGurk twins. He also has cool powers when fighting, and he has a really badass moment when he rejects his old boss and embraces his more meaningful life path. I highly recommend the podcast!!
