#nightmare time

Ok so I still haven't seen every NMT episode (I know, I'm a fake fan 😔) since I've been watching them with my girlfriend who got me into it. I've just seen up to Abstinence Camp. So these opinions are subject to change once I've seen the rest of the series. Who knows, maybe I'll love Daddy or something lmao

🙃 Favorite NMT Episode

If you asked me like two days ago I would've said Jane's a Car, but it's since been bumped down to 3rd place. Thank god I watched Abstinence Camp the day before getting this ask. It's not the scariest or even the best but man I love Steph and Pete so much you don't understand. I'm keeping myself from gushing about them too much, but going from "oh my god this is het-slop" to "oh my god this is het-gem" over the course of nerdy prudes was an experience. And the second they started talking in Abstinence Camp I had such a big smile on my face. So yeah it's my favorite because it's good, but also because of Lautski bias.

i mean, we got more Sherman Young content so that was fun, but at what cost? also, this episode answered a BIG question in the fandom

which question, you ask?

"Why is Barry Swift always in such a hurry?"

but i mean, there might be more reasons? he always seems to have a reason. he needed to settle down, or he needed medical attention

but it seems that Marco doesn't really attack the visitors down in the sewers, so did Barry try and almost manage to escape before Marco got his leg?

if the answers happen to be connected to the next episodes, Killer Track and Yellow Jacket, i suppose i'll find out about it whenever i watch more, but i suppose i'll be left with that question for now.

and DAYYUM a lot of people are dying, like, i know season 2 is more connected to each episode, and i get that it all revolves around the Honey Queen festival, but i can't help but wonder if all that happens every year and every year Hatchetfield's population just drops, or if 2020's festival was just really a spike in tragedies, such as deaths(Honey Queen) or arrests(Perky's Buds), or people going missing(Abstinence Camp)

but i suppose no one is really going to question it. i mean, it's Hatchetfield.
