Not to be critical on main but one thing in the show that's always irked me is the general feeling of stagnation of Eddie's story. He's just a character who on paper has a lot of room for growth and change and just. They really renege any progress Eddie might make toward moving on from Shannon and truly he feels a lot like the same person we met in s2. Like it was fine through s3 that shit made sense but after that like tell me you don't know wtf to do with his character without telling me you don't know wtf to do with his character. It never feels like they build Eddie toward anything emotionally satisfying. Quit blue balling me!!! Every time we have a full Jenga tower of Eddie's progress they just pull out a piece from the bottom and let it all come crumbling down again.
