Just had a vision of Buck, Eddie, and Ravi at a speed dating event but it's one where you fill out compatibility forms in advance and Buck and Eddie get paired up as the mostly highly compatible potential couple at the event. They try to say it's a mistake and argue with the event hosts while Ravi just sips his cocktail and pretends not to pay attention to the chaos

"i heard some dick was being mean to ya" was, for me, definitive proof of eddie's feelings. it was so ridiculously affectionate, so familiar, so husband-like in its sheepish accountability and silent plea for forgiveness. yeah sorry about that douchebag from yesterday. i know he hurt you. i do that sometimes. may i offer you our son & our pepa in these trying times? <3 while i work through my instinct to cut people to the bone whenever i feel like an exposed nerve? <3 please forgive me i can't sleep

the thing about “this is eddie’s house, i’m not really a guest” is like. it’s november 2018, and buck is over having dinner with eddie and chris (again). eddie says “okay chris, how about you go figure out what movie we’re gonna watch while buck and i finish up the dishes?” and buck was definitely already going to offer to do the dishes but he scoffs “wow eddie this is how you treat a guest?” and eddie smirks and rolls his eyes and says “no it isn’t, but you’re not really a guest, are you?” and eddie doesn’t really think about it much past that, but buck has to take a second as that phrase burrows deep inside him and glows and glows and glows

“this was his feelings realization” “this was bucks ‘oh.’ moment” nonono he is being crushed by his reality in ways he cannot even begin to grasp rn. his entire world is crumbling. all he knows is eddie is going to texas and his heart and mind are both blowing up in slow motion. no. first, buck buckley is going to go absolutely fucking chernobyl. he will tear this whole place down. and make a series of decisions so baffling it will actually force him to look inwards. and so then he will go “wow. is there a reason i was being Absolutely Fucking Bonkers Insane about all this?” and THEN he will realize.
