Good news! I now have a dog on my dash

I save nice comments people make on my art and writing to a special folder on my computer for easy access.

Weirdly I sometimes go and read comments on other people’s fic. Fic I enjoy, to see how well other people enjoyed it and to see if I missed anything they caught and to see my friends heaped in praise

I got a couple of really sweet comments on some of my fics and when I feel bad about anything in general, or bad about my writing because some other story didn’t really receive much attention, I’ll just re-read some of these really nice comments cause they make me remember that I wrote some stuff that some people liked enough to leave such a nice comment on it…so thanks for that!

Confession: sometimes, to get myself out of a writer’s block or procrastination situation, I make one of my favourite comments my lockscreen and look at that throughout the day. Every time I feel down, I just pick up my phone and read that sweet, supportive comment, and instantly feel better. Your words mean a lot to me, and they help me see through the veil of self-doubt I donned so long ago. Thank you so much!
