FINE here's my analysis of legend and others in entrance 2
can't leave him alone for two minutes smh /hj
all art belongs to @/linkeduniverse, reblog the update if you haven't and here we go!
legend continues to be very excited at the prospect of a new dungeon. he joins in the fun of giving warriors the rundown- without making fun of him, i might add.
interestingly, legend is happy to joke about anything except the dungeon itself. the autism flavor of taking things literally, perhaps. his expression shows that he's not actually upset with four, just rolling his eyes that the smith had to say it in the first place.
legend takes a very sensible approach to saving wild's toes (or life, who knows?). he and wild may have been butting heads often during this journey so far but he doesn't want to see any more of his brothers hurt. legend explains exactly why wild needs to be careful, and backs off physically once wild stops moving.
wild isn't upset by legend's abrupt warning- rather, the champion gets frustrated only when the veteran suggests that he's not paying attention. legend is upset now, too. wild brushed off the fact that he was in danger, and chose to focus on legend pointing out his shortcomings. these boys, used to working alone rather than in a group, still have a ways to go to learn how to communicate with each other.
yes, twilight, what legend did was perfectly excusable in the case of wild almost stepping on a trip wire. why is twilight of all people grumpy, is time's mood rubbing off on him?
once again, i keep thinking back to legend's initial character notes. the veteran, the most experienced; chooses not to be the leader type. he knows that he has the experience, he knows that he's not comfortable taking charge, he knows that it's not easy to get other people to listen to him. hopefully legend won't have to struggle with his 'veteran' status for too long, and he can just enjoy the dungeon like he clearly wants to.
warriors is on legend's side. they're in a dangerous, unfamiliar place, and it's high time the chain practice their teamwork.
...let's just hope they can all stay on the same page long enough for that to happen.
