Why should Science and Art be antithetical?!

Humans ache for a greatness that is apparent to all those who watch.

They want to be aknowledged as "great" and "powerful"

and yet

The ones truly powerful and lethal in this world of ours are microscopic (Bacteria, Viruses, Radioactive Elements).

A good work environment really makes the difference.

Currently I’m working with two very diverse group 

Serene atmosphere, cameraderie, colleagues ready to help

Extremely competitive and focused on individualism, on personal achievement place

Useless to say but the one I feel most comfortable with is the first one.

When I have to work with group 1 I feel motivated and even excited to make progress even small ones. On the contrary, with group 2 all I feel is pressure and growing anxiety. Maybe It’s just me but I feel like there is a wall between me and them, as if they don’t want me there. Obviously, I can’t wait to leave group 2 behind me and never look back again.

So today is raining... a lot.

Despite the impracticability of moving around the city with this weather, I still love it.

How do I focus on my work, when my mind is constantly elsewhere??

I'm well aware of the approaching deadline and yet I can't seem to be able to concentrate.

Because this morning I had mine.

It has been years now since I have come to terms with my sexuality but sometimes I am still caught off guard like early this morning:

I was en route to uni when I crossed paths with a really beautiful woman and all I could think of was "God... She really is gorgeous!" immediately followed by "If there were any doubts left about my sexuality, this clear them all".
