I'm so glad J.K. Rowling is in the files, anytime a conversation about the files comes up I get to drag her name through though the dirt and either the other person looks sad or they bring up that she's a transphobe. Its a guaranteed win win.
glory to the shovel!
Digital Stamped
I mean, in 2026, after the main craze died out, it feels so melancholy to come back. All of the work people have put into this is forgotten in the public consciousness, probably even by the people who put days of work into it. I know the drama that went down, and all the bullshit, but so many digital footprints had walked this path. There is so much love poured into every town, city, even towns abandoned have art there. All of the unfinished work that has just sat uncompleted almost makes it feel haunted, like projects that have been untouched for months are waiting for people to come back and finish what they started.

hacking a 3ds really is that easy.
someone needs to climb trump tower with suction cups again.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." -Thomas Jefferson
It's hard not to think about this quote nowadays. Radical change often takes radical actions. Violence isn't the answer, but it is the last resort. If a government is unable to make the change it wants through other means, it resorts to violence. And the people, when the system chooses to use violence and death and pain in order to force change, have the duty to defend themselves and their rights.

SO, I don't watch anime all that often, mostly because I hold opinions on how the communities surrounding anime have normalized the hypersexualizing of women. But also, I am growing convinced that Anime has a hand in the Alt-Right Pipeline.
Anime sells a power fantasy almost entirely intended for an audience of teen boys. The main characters are often self inserts of the audience, and are given a ton of women to choose from. The women are often manipulated for the desires of the male MC. The MC is also devoid of flaws and infallible despite doing things that we would consider evil or despicable.
It is enabling of a misogynistic mindset in young men, and at the very minimum, it is normalizing the behaviors shown. A anime fan literally told me that fan-service was just a thing, and that it wasn't weird. He felt so confident about how normal it was that he was willing to just bring it up casually as if it wasn't lowkey disgusting, and literally pulled up a picture of a women doing summersaults in super tight pants and shows it to me.
And what cemented this in my eyes was the idea of a "Anime Tourist," which is how the in-group, aka the people in the pipeline, refer to the out-group, the people who are outside of the pipeline and are able to recognize the problematic flaws of the media and it's political implications.
Like, a character in an anime can literally touch kids and people will just gloss over it, and if you say anything about it people say that you are the weird one for pointing it out. The people who watch and interact with the communities surrounding anime become socially ostracized as well. If they try to talk about their interests in a crowd of "normies" they would make everyone else uncomfortable. This means that the only people they can interact with is people who are also in the same in-group. And as everyone needs to know, social ostracization is one of the main tactics used by cults, religions, and extremist groups.
"once you're there, you can never leave" is a moto on fourchan for a reason.
and to be clear, I can recognize that not all anime is like this, but like, most of it is. dungeon meshi was good, but even I can see a pattern here.
also, the advocacy of violence as a solution to problems. Anime fans seem to faint out of joy when they(their mc self insert) kills their newest rival.

Can we bring back the idea of keeping horny shit private? Like when men wear hentai shit out and about. Or even those gamer supps anime girl shakers. Like good Lord. Must I be reminded every where I go that people only see me as a commodity and an object, that my body is a sexual fantasy rather than belong to a human person with an identity EVERYWHERE?
I have been thinking about GG as a company for a minute now. They literally put barely dressed women on the sides of their shakers, and market pre-workout to teens. All of the products are marketed to young teens, and yet they name their stuff after breast milk and farts and butt-holes.
The robophobic-rhetoric did not come preinstalled, I consumed media and was persuaded by the writers argument. I think it is morally justified to put a nail through their chest like you are Vlad The Impaler. I would say that the metal heads need to die, but I don't think them androids can die if they can be plugged back in. And the people who think being "aided" by robots makes them better, or stronger, the impurities of your flesh will be cleansed in the afterlife.
It does not have free will. It doesn't have motivation, dreams, anything that makes a human unique.
Y'all think 9/11 is canon in TADC or nah
As in it happened in the real world, or did Caine make an adventure where they all go to the fucking twin towers?
ASDFGHJKH LMAO not a twin towers adventure ππ
Moreso like it happened in the real world and all of the people in the circus know it happened.
What's up with red bull at this point. They were the first energy drink, they market themselves to athletes and people who do extreme sports, but they are so much lower in caffeine. like, i love them, just because they don't pretend to be healthy like Celsius, and they don't have the same recreational use as monster. Like, how did monster become the go to drink for so many queers too. People, you don't need 4 cups of coffee in one can, why does this shit have 200 mg of caffeine and 55 grams of sugar. 200 mg is nearly half of what a person is recommended to drink in an entire day. and yet red bull is literally equivalent to a 12 ounce cup of coffee. Why do we also romanticize caffeine addictions. Like, that isn't fun it's scary. It's scary to need a drug to function, including caffeine.
The moment you demonize the other side, erase all empathy for them, you lose.
Putting the citizens against each other is their plan. Those who voted for trump thought he would help them. They were so desperate that they ignored all the other shit and clung to the idea that he would help the working class.
I feel for them. We all want to be heard and helped and we are human. I don't give a fuck. I will not become callous
Dehumanization & abjectifying the outgroups can make the ingroup less susceptible to any form of criticism. The worst thing is trying to bring people who have fallen down the rabbit-hole to understand that all people are people and need to be treated as such. Thankfully this mostly happens online, and most people treat each other well because unless they open the conversation talking about something political, they will still see them as a fellow human being. It's much harder to dehumanize a person if they are standing right in front of you.

Idgaf I do not support murder. If you shoot someone you don't like, murder. If that person is part of a government organization you don't like, murder. If it's a CEO you don't like, murder.
You don't win because they're dead
I knew so many people who believed that Luigi was great, and everyone agreed it was murder. I found this shocking when christans agreed with his act, so ofc I started to break it down into the morality Luigi's murder. We know that the CEO of UH was at least indirectly responsible for the death of over 10,000 American citizens each year.
So it's a great analogy of the Trolley Problem. A train is on a track and will kill 4 people, but you have a switch that will swap the train to the track with a single person. In this case, the average person is likely to say that they would murder the single person in order to save the 4 people, despite the fact that that would mean murdering one person. This is because 4 > 1, so logically, pulling the lever would save the most amount of lives, despite having to murder someone.
Now this parallels The CEO murder because Brian was going to be responsible for thousands of more deaths. When Luigi metaphorically pulled the switch, healthcare companies were forced to address the public unrest, and Luigi's act can be linked to healthcare companies making choices that led to more accessible healthcare, and thus, allowing more people to access life saving treatments. By killing one person, Luigi had made the world a better place through a morally wrong action.
But the key here is that regardless of the choice, someone lost. At least one person will die in both scenarios. All of this is to say, the fact that any murder has to happen is a sign that the game is rigged. There is no situation where someone did not cause the death of another person. There is no such thing as wining, we all lose when the game is designed for no one to win.
