- he’s a bit over it now but i LOVE that they decided to make smurf’s grooming and weird incestuous behavior a part of it. i would love if they explored it more
- HIM AND ADRIAN BETTER BE ENDGAME. THEY KEEP GOING BACK TO EACH OTHER FOR A REASON
- his dad is unfortunately very funny even though he sounds like an awful person
- the way he handled lena after cath died really pissed me off. so basically cath did everything is what that tells me
- and the fact that he was cheating on cath. like that’s so awful

- the way he would make digs at pope for being a father figure to lena even though he literally wasn’t trying is crazy

The “Kingdon are siblings” breaks my brain because like… no…. THIS is how siblings act. Annoying and in the way and teasing. You have to hate your sibling a lil. You can’t stare at them lovingly from across the ER actor boy.
I think what’s so different about Mel and Langdon and how everyone else treats Mel is that Langdon actively listens to Mel while everyone else only passively listens to Mel. When Langdon can no longer afford her his attention, he clearly lets her know and wraps things up. Wether that be a smile or holding eye contact before letting her know he’s got to go. It’s why when Mel says “he didn’t say goodbye” is such a significant line, because Langdon’s been giving her closure and encouragement and advice the entire shift. He’s been available. He’s actively listening, actively there for her, and giving her his undivided and full attention. When he can’t? He lets her know and comes around later when he can afford it. He accommodates, acknowledges, and encourages Mel even if it means getting in his own way. Langdon for the first time, as with Mel, is deciding and giving on an equal level. It’s not mentor mentee but two characters both meeting each others needs and wants with ease. It’s literally EASY for them to fall into this rhythm. Unlike anyone, in the past 10 months. Mel is still clearing out rooms. Both Santos and Dana only passively check in on Mel. They never let her finish nor start, especially if it’s personal. Langdon does, cause he knows that will also effect her work ethic, which he desperately needs, cause Langdon needs to be needed. It’s just this insane mutually beneficial relationship that’s this really weird and crazy balance of equal give and take. It’s so beautiful. Like shipping aside. It truly is two characters who understand each other like no one else and just click. I’m so so excited to see how the US VS THEM dynamic plays out when the THEM is also the ER whose also ??? With them ??? It’s such a devouring dynamic that my teeth are STUCK in.
