because of his quietness, some may deem him as shy, innocent or timid. far from it. when luke was a child, he’s extremely difficult and it shows in his actions. whenever he’s upset or angry with someone, he’d do things like releasing bugs on them, trips them into a river or pours itchy powder over them. estelle and laipheaux often had to apologize for him because of that, since sometimes his methods could go quite far and towards someone who could cause trouble for their father’s establishment. speechwise, he’s also much ruder and straightforward than he looks - since he doesn’t have the experience of changing his words or modifying his speeches. he speaks his mind since he engages in it much often than his mouth and sometimes it ends up offending people so much that it might’ve been better if he kept them to himself. thankfully, even after he learned how to talk in much more situations, his disinclination towards speaking tones it down a tad. even so, some people who only get to hear his blithe way of speaking might determine him as a rude person. the only person he had consciously avoid offending is oboro since he feels that being rude to that good man would warrant 10 years worth of retribution from the realm.
