Polyamorous as in movie night snacks and cuddles piles, Polyamorous as in walks through a park and we see slides and swingsets with no one using them and we make a day out of it, Polyamorous as in we're walking downtown laughing on the way to our favorite food shop/store/vender, Polyamorous as in having a genuine connection to the people you love and care about because Polyamorous doesn't mean just lots of sex with multiple people. I mean, it can. But you get my point! Campfires and tent cuddles! Roasting smored with your partners and laughing at stupid joked or spooky stories. Give Me Some Domestic Polyamory.

Poly group outing to an amusement park/waterpark for one member's birthday and it being such a great day for all of us.

Polyam as in delivering meal prep to each other. Sending lovers home with leftovers. Packing both sweeties a work lunch for the next day. Everyone eating well, and there being enough for everyone.

It’s okay to be sad about or grieve the opportunities you miss out on/cannot take due to your health no matter how much you want them. It sucks and it can be heavy and it’s not your fault. You cannot will power your way out of it, it’s a disability because it is disabling. And that can hurt a lot. In a way it’s not an opportunity if you cannot take it, it’s a magical and unrealistic “what if” but they still hurt. So I’m here to tell you and myself that it is okay to be sad, it’s also okay if some people don’t get your limits. You are the one living your life, and I hope true and joyful opportunities are on the way to all who wants and needs them. 🌸

listen to me, this is so so important: you've gotta get used to really giving it your 60% as a default. like don't half-ass it necessarily but try not to go over 70% or so of an ass. you'll feel better and live a happier more fulfilled life, and on the rare occasions where you do need to lock the fuck in you'll be able to pull off bullshit that the sad miserable wretches giving it their 100% can never dream off, because they're busy draining themselves dry and you have energy reserves to spare.

One thing psychology made obvious to me is that people protect their self-image harder than they protect the truth. A character can do something selfish and still need to believe they’re kind. So they rename it. They say they were “setting boundaries” when they were punishing someone. They say they were “being honest” when they were being cruel. The lie is not always for other people. Sometimes the lie is the little bridge that lets them keep living with themselves.

i think the crux of human misery stems from the fact that our skeleton just wants to sit around and accumulate dust in an ancient barrow (that is the innate imperative of all skeletal remains in-case you didn’t know) but our meat has its own agenda which creates this fundamental conflict of interests
