The Big Bang Theory is a depressing and sobering tale of a woman who spends years tolerating a man she has little chemistry with, eventually being "worn down" (to quote the show) by him and having a depressing wedding in Las Vegas. She says she never wants children but her petty and unpleasant friends shame her until she caves in and becomes pregnant. Meanwhile her close friend, a successful Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology with a well-paying job ends up becoming a nurse plus mother plus sex slave to a petulant manchild for the rest of her life, this being a sobering commentary on the reality of male-attracted women. And it's all cleverly disguised as a sitcom. Well played Chuck Lorre, well played

Girls who are like “i wish women didnt have the right to work” piss me off so much because literally it’s easy just find a man ? Find a rich man who has the same beliefs u do and you wont have to work a day in your life. Should we all give away our rights because you cant find a man? Pathetic

some royal jewels were stolen from the louvre which is unfortunate for historical reasons but you gotta appreciate a classic crime. so many crimes are online these days it’s nice to see heist culture is still alive

"exercise will give you more energy" gets said a lot as a common piece of health advice but I think it needs to be expanded into "exercising will make you tired while you do it, and you will continue to be tired immediately afterwards, sometimes even the next day too, but over months of consistent exercise, your muscles will get stronger and therefore get less tired out by everyday activities, making you feel like day-to-day life takes less physical energy than it used to"

Idk how you can go like "wow humans can only see 1% of the light spectrum and only hear 1% of audio tones were missing out on so much!" And then go "God doesnt exist because we cant test for it in a lab"

For better and for worse, almost all countries on Earth are more or less the same... it's almost like... there's some kind of common denominator, but I cannot seem to be able to put my human finger on it 🤔
