neil sleeping w andrew's armbands under his pillow while he's at easthaven is truly so underrated. the quintessential andrew item and he kept it safe by Sleeping over it. when before this he'd only ever put his Mother's gun beneath it. like so fucking insane and so telling towards neil's feelings and even crazier when u remember spring break neil reaching for a weapon and grabbing andrew's arm.

I love thinking about how Andrew off the rip thought Neil was pretty. I love thinking about how Andrew had a crush lowkey from the start. How Andrew put himself between Neil and Riko at the show. How Andrew according to the EC met up with Roland at the end of TFC with his hands and mouth on Roland but his mind on Neil. Love that so hard. Andrew who on his meds or not (sometimes regretfully) couldn’t stop looking at and paying attention to Neil.

I like the idea of Neil slowly getting a better fashion sense over time but only because he starts to learn what Andrew likes. And yes he will always have his comfy baggy shirts that hide his scars and keep him safe. But he will learn that when he wears those tight fitting jeans Andrew stares at his ass and when he adds a chain around his neck he will find fingers tracing it and that wearing shirts that actually fit ends up with him drowning in Andrew. And Neil is manipulative. Neil knows how to get what he wants. And all he wants is Andrew.

aus where andreil meet pre-canon, where they go to high school together, etc. make me so soft. andrew driving back to columbia every damn weekend so he can see neil. andrew making sure the foxes recruit neil. all the foxes wondering where andrew goes every weekend only to be dumbfounded by how domestic he is with neil when they're only 18 and 19 years old.
