Each fidget charm is made up of 10 interlocking articulated pieces that freely rotate creating an animated and lifelike feel when moved. Leg, body and tail pieces can be rotated to create various different poses, and head piece can be rotated to open the wolf's mouth. Made from heat-shrinked plastic, connected with metal rivets.

I’m running an Introductory Animation Workshop with creative arts students this Saturday (August 20, 2016) for The School of Creative Arts Open Day at Melbourne Polytechnic’s Prahran Campus. I’ve rotoscoped and broken down some of the greatest dance gifs to their basic poses and we’re going to collaboratively design characters then MAKE THEM DANCE!!

I can’t wait to see the weird animated goofs that result from this workshop, I’ll post them in a couple of days so we can all be in awe of their hilarious spontaneity!

New character! They’re called Rabbit Ears.

They’re a weird hare thing. With a tv in their chest that displays their heart. When they get close to and interact with sophonts that can understand speech, their tv displays a toothy mouth and they speak with it, they can’t speak though their own mouth. Which isn’t visible unless it’s fully open. Its mouth is full of incisors. It has the inner incisors of a horse, the “canines” are rabbit incisors, and their “molars” are all human incisors. If lost, they regrow like a shark. They have retractable antennae that act as whiskers except for things that aren’t visible in the light spectrum (like radiowaves, etc). They’re mercurial to a certain extent, but not ever incredibly hostile (w/o reason). They’re a trickster, and like pranks (but not the YouTuber/tiktok influencer kind).

Indigo dyeing works by oxidation, so it turns blue when enough of the liquid is wrung out that it is exposed to the air.

Unlike most dyes, you don't get a darker color with indigo by keeping it in the liquid longer, but by dipping it more times.
