okay i should preface this by saying i’m somewhat inebriated so i apologise for any possible incoherence. secondly the lovely @nafeary and @juminly came up with most of these i just filled in some of the gaps and put everything into a post bc they’re busy rn:

but vincent WANTS him. he wants to take what they have a step beyond but arthur’s like “omg no what if someone, like your OVERPROTECTIVE LITTLE BROTHER, finds us?” and vincent’s like “chill boo he’s at an art exhibit with MC” (oh yeah btw theo & MC are together in this too)
IT WAS CANCELLED FOR WHATEVER REASON maybe the universe just felt like shitting on arthur today
so theo goes to check on vincent bc he just be like that

as you would expect, theo blows the FUCK up.
arthur’s scrambling for his clothes and trying to pull a dazai out of the window, while vincent’s trying to calm him down
but THIS time? oh boy, theo’s sheer RAGE cannot be tamed
he storms over to arthur, ready to quicken his fleeing-out-of-the-window process with a swift kick to his derriere
but yall dont forget: when vincent wants to throw hands, YOU BETTER NOT FUCK WITH HIM. he manages to get theo under control, just in time for MC to swoop in and take her man away.
slight derail but this is Necessary for the thirsty theo stans like myself:
MC knows theo is beyond pissed, and he needs an outlet that doesn’t involve the defenestration of arthur. so her solution? her body.

so they do it, and it’s REALLY ROUGH. MC is bitten in plenty of places, red & sore, and has shed more than a few tears not just from overstimulation (theo’s spanking hurts in the best way @ me)
but the aftercare is TOP-NOTCH. theo feels horribly guilty about what he’s done despite her reassurances that it’s okay, she’s okay, and she wanted it too. he showers her with kisses, tends to any wounds, and cuddles her (from behind bc he’s too embarrassed to have her look at him lmao). basically, really soft!theo 🥺🥺
ANYWAY BACK TO VINCENT & ARTHUR
arthur spends a week fleeing every time he sees theo (and theo gets such a good kick out of it he almost considers forgiving arthur. almost.)
vincent & MC organise a bunch of double dates for them to go on: cute cafe dates, shopping in the city, drinking games at their favourite pub
arthur is shitting bricks the morning of their first double date, but vincent hugs him all like “it’s okay i won’t let theo bully you”
poor arthur’s a fucking wreck all throughout the first date, which is the cafe date. he spills his coffee on MC by accident, earning himself a harsh glare from theo. if it weren’t for vincent giving theo a warning glare of his own, arthur imagines his neck would be hanging from the ceiling.
MC definitely gives theo several scoldings: his overprotectiveness of vincent is making vincent unhappy & putting a strain on their relationship; what matters is that vincent is safe & happy with arthur; he should give arthur a chance at least
theo agrees with GREAT RELUCTANCE, only bc he’s weak to his girlfriend lmao
so they go on more double dates & theo forces himself to view the whole thing with an open mind for vincent’s sake
and,,,, huh,,, vincent seems genuinely happy and in love. he’s looking at arthur the way theo knows he looks at MC when she’s not paying attention, and the same applies to how arthur looks at vincent. it’s not the same quick cursory glances he gives the women he sleeps around with—this is real affection and devotion, the same affection and devotion theo himself feels for MC. but he’s not completely convinced yet bc anyone can act, and he personally knows arthur isn’t the most honest person when it comes to his feelings
the real test (in theo’s eyes) is the pub date bc that’s where arthur’s usual bloodbanks lady pals can be found
ARTHUR DOESN’T EVEN SPARE THEM HALF A GLANCE
his eyes are on vincent the whole night
when the ladies approach him, he quickly brushes them off and returns his attention to his boo. when the ladies get physical, he (gently) extricates them and then shuts them down (but like a gentleman bc he doesn’t want to hurt them)
and theo can just tell: it’s not an act. arthur truly is head-over-heels. and he can tell vincent feels the exact same way
so privately, he concedes defeat. as long as they’re happy, right?
(he probably still pretends to disapprove for a while tho bc he derives plenty of glee from watching arthur squirm for once)
(tho MC catches on to him, calls him out, and forces him to officially give arthur his blessing)
so there’ll definitely be plenty of double dates + arthur & MC drunkenly comparing notes on what it’s like to have a van gogh lover
