I was a friend of the late lead designer of Transformers Animated Derrick J. Wyatt. For the last several years I've been trying to maintain the legacy of a specific character who he loved so much.
Henry Masterson, AKA The Headmaster.
Because the character has remained entirely un-utilised in official Hasbro media for over 15 years, I have been attempting to maintain interest in him, specifically by creating new artwork, gathering production art and other official media and compiling a historical database.
I admit that I possess a distinct creative insight into the mechanics of this character in a way that many might not even know. His personality, vernacular, and cadence, right down to his purple hair and specific late-90s/early-2000s 'l33t speak', perfectly mirror my own teen years. Try not to cringe. LMAO
It's an odd sort of task, collating and compiling things for a niche character who only featured in a few episodes, but this guy meant something to Derrick and also to me.
