Disclaimer ⬆️ I’m okay with media exploring dark and uncomfortable topics, but usually on my own time and not really in fandom spaces. I really don’t like how these communities tend to represent darker topics and over-reduce the impact fiction can have, u feel me? I do not come to the piss-on-the-poor app to find media literacy. And I usually fw lighthearted stuff anyway.

I’m a bit reclusive, but I love sharing and talking about art with other ppl, so I hope you enjoy!

So much of it just seems very new to me, if that makes sense. Light contributes to the composition in very unconventional, fascinating ways. Mostly because I learned how to add things like composition through rule of thirds, stuff made for cinema where you glance at it. These still use that example rule, but everything is muddled through sheer detail. It intrigues you to look at it a while to comb through the scenes, which i think fits the medium well; I don’t know much about it as a game, but I assume the player can linger on these screens as much as they want.

The sense of scale here is also fascinating to me, cause like, if I were drawing some of these “indoor” scenes, my first instinct would be to exaggerate the perspective and depth of field to make these seem gargantuan. You can’t really get a sense of how big everything is, but it still looks just, BIG. Very static, and a sense of perspective similar to a paper theatre.
