And I'm wondering:

What does a Plowshare Bolaire look like?

Because while I think Bolaire trying to find himself outside of war is definitely first steps to reforging him, I don't think he's really moved from Sword to Plowshare yet. And, in fact, recent events are likely to send Bolaire sliding back deeper into Sword as he re-weaponizes himself to help the others fell the Sundered Houses.

I also think that Bolaire's adoration of Hal's plays, and theatre in general, is probably a hint as to how the reforging can happen: you've got to write a play for what you want him to be and then get Bolaire back on stage to perform it. Because it sure doesn't seem like Bolaire has performed onstage since the original play, so that seems like the way to set deep changes in him, since just watching plays has allowed him to make smaller changes to himself.

As for what new purpose Bolaire would be set to as a Plowshare, I'm less sure. Certainly, Bolaire enjoys working at the museum and presenting history for mortals to learn from. But if that work alone is not enough to Plowshare Bolaire, it feels like there has to be more to what purpose he could be reforged to.
