In the past couple years, I've been on and off of tumblr for various reasons. Last time I was on this blog, I was looking at my old posts and overall unhappy with the work I decided to share.

It took a bit of ruminating, but I'm excited to start this blog over again from scratch.

Oh yes the one that's for sure totally just a test.

A supernatural horror mystery in which the main character tries to solve the mystery of his best friend's death.

It's got transmasc rage, a whole hell of a lotta grief, and about how to move on with a lack of closure.

Only 5 of them have made it past the 20k word count (which is the determining factor for me if I'm gonna stick with a wip for a while), but that doesn't mean I don't love the ones I've left behind.

FROM THE SEA FRET - Still querying. I've been querying for a couple months now, and I had to rework my query letter a few times during those months. Right now, I'm waiting the longest that I've had to wait (so far), so I think I've found my way into a few maybe piles.

THE STRINGS OF WILLIS MANOR - Revising is underway! I've gotten the majority of feedback from my lovely betas, and I've started to pluck away at revisions. Not everything they suggested will be things that I implement, so I'm still in the early stages of figuring out what works across the board, and what are things I need to change.

TestWIP - I'm trying out a new outlining/writing method, and so I'm using an idea I've had for a while as a guinea pig. I started this WIP on April 19th, and as of today (May 18th) it's sitting at 29,140 words. My goal is 70k, so we're not far from half way. Overall, I'm having a great time and this new outlining method kicks ass.
