Who am I?
My name is Moshke and Iām a queer and disabled adult fantasy/sci fi writer in my 30ās based in the Pacific Northwest in the US. I live with my wonderful goblin partner and our excessively fluffy cat, and I do have a day job and one or two other hobbies (including fanfic, making doll clothes, studying languages, and doing bad art), so between that and adhd my writing comes along very slowly. But it is the most important activity in my life, so I keep trying. See below for a quick rundown of my current projects.
Cold Iron
Book 1 of 4
Genre: dark urban fantasy
Shakatra and their brother Kristoffer, a pair of homeless adult changelings in 1950ās Seattle, decide to travel across the veil to Faerie to free the humans they replaced as infants. This requires leaving the city for the first time in their lives on a road trip that takes them past wildlings eager to prey on them, humans suspicious of them, and one young woman in search of her brother. And thatās before they even make the crossing and see a Faerie court.

To Die Among the Stars
Standalone
Genre: found family sci fi
The year is 2197. Earth is full. Mars is full. The universe beyond beckons, but FTL travel has been thoroughly debunked and we have no evidence of the effects of life in space for longer than a few years. So an experiment is arranged, to test the equipment and the people. But no one of import can be risked, so instead they find the people no one will miss: the mentally ill, the homeless and disabled, the desperate. The failed experiments. It doesnāt matter who they are as long as they can be controlled enough to get them on that ship. No one really expected them to survive long enough to fight back.

A Complete History of Halara
Volume 1 of 2
Genre: gendermessy high fantasy told through an in-universe historical lens
Halara is a fascinating and unique kingdom despite stretching over only two mountains and a handful of foothills, and has often been ignored in studies of local political and cultural history. Not only are they one of the few places with a gender tradition that doesnāt take physical form into account, they were among the first to have a functioning culture that included human and other beings. In fact, their first two dynasties were orcish. This is the first of two volumes looking at the 1,000-year history of Halara both politically and socially through primary sources such as letters, diaries, and contracts.
