I think Huxley would say something like “OOooOOHh that’s the word” after hearing someone else use it, giving a kid-like explanation of why he said that out of the blue before saying something along the lines of “Kinda bummed out that I didn’t remember that word. It woulda made me sound super smart.” In his slightly disappointed voice. (By “kid-like” I mean that it’s kind of loopy and contains details that are not important to the recipient. I am not by any means trying to call him immature or stupid.)

Damien would be engulfed by his thoughts, most likely sitting in the passenger seat of a car. Suddenly he rolls his eyes with a sigh, his lips making smacking sound upon opening them. At this point someone would probably ask him what’s wrong and his answer would vary depending on who he was speaking with. If he doesn’t know the person that well or there is someone present that he is not well aquatinted with, he’ll brush it off as nothing or make an excuse. However, if it’s someone he’s close to he’ll give a short explanation similar to “Just remembered a word I was trying to use earlier.” To which the other person would simply reply with a neutral “Oh.” Because.. well what else do you say to that?

David would probably be trying planning something out in his head, eyes lowered with a neutral expression. He then realizes that he used the word in his thoughts and hums out a soft “Hm.” If Angel is there, they say “what?” In a sort of suspecting tone, thinking that the sound was directed at them. David’s “Nothing.” and shrug would obviously never be enough for them, leading them to inquire further. David finally gives in and says “I was thinking about (input whatever he was planning) and came across a word I couldn’t think of earlier.” Angel now satisfied just leaves him with a contented “Oh, ok.” clearly annoying him slightly.

Guy is rambling, per usual. His rant gets cut short after a certain word, he pauses for a moment before gasping. “(Insert forgotten word here)! That’s what I was thinking of.” The other person would look slightly confused causing him to explain further. His explanation would be similar in style to Huxley’s but a little more controlled.

Gavin wouldn’t. Demon memory or wtv yeah I don’t see him doing it. Y’all can try if you want to.

Milo would be doing something absentmindedly like cleaning or something of the sort. Eventually you would hear an enlightened “Ah..” as he remembered the word before saying “Fuck, why couldn’t I think of that?” (I don’t think he would do it around anyone)

Asher actually previously asked someone if they knew the word when he couldn’t think of it but his explanation was so bad that they couldn’t figure it out. Later on it slips out during one of his passionate rambles which brings it to an abrupt halt “Wait.. (insert word)… insert word again)! That’s what I was thinking of earlier. My explanation described it perfectly. I don’t know what (person who couldn’t guess word) was talking about.” He actually writes it down but loses the paper shortly after and forgot the word before that so he can’t even write it down again.

Lasko was stressing over.. something idk which somehow lead him to the word that he was thinking of earlier. A relieved but slightly annoyed “Oh my god..” tumbles out of the air elemental “That was much more simple than I was making it out to be.”

Aaron’s response would be similar to David’s but he would be slightly less cagey about it. Though, sometimes he’ll be a little secretive on purpose if he is trying to annoy or banter with Smartass “I don’t have to tell you anything.. you can keep trying I’m not gonna budge… I already told you it wasn’t about you. We both know I’m not afraid to speak my mind especially with you.” (Not exact but you get it).

Ollie would react similarly to Huxley but calmer. His explanation would be more relaxed and to the point than Huxley’s as well. “Where’s my brain when I need it?”

Geordi gets really annoyed and wishes that he’d thought of that earlier. “That was literally the most common word ever.” Lots of eye rolling, head shaking, and sighs follow.

I don’t think Sam really gives a fuck. I mean he feels kinda bad because he knows that the word would’ve been useful but it’s in the past now. The only sign that you would see if you were paying attention is a slow nod before going back to normal.

Porter cares even less. He wouldn’t even still be thinking about it. He doesn’t really care much about it for long enough to realize.

Vincent has pretty much the same mindset as Sam and isn’t regretful or anything like that. However, he is grateful to remember it now because.. well he doesn’t really know why. He just likes knowing stuff and thinks it’s cool and kinda funny. #me

I think Freelancer teases them whenever they see them writing “Don’t flex on me 😒lol” (writing from experience 😢 I 🫶🏾 my friends tho)

Huxley is known as the “lovey cuddly” guy but I think Dear is known as the best at articulating it. The crew collectively agrees that they are the best at writing birthday cards, letters etc. It makes it even better that they write in cursive.

They’re always getting told how beautiful/handsome they are when meeting new people.

They dance and are pretty flexible.

They are calm and grounded now but when they were in college..😬 They were always a good and intelligent person, never doing anything bad. However, they were a lot more “extroverted”. When they showed Lasko pictures of them from back then his response was “And you’re sure that you weren’t popular..?” 💀

They were a really good student. Straight A’s, all their teachers loved them, HELLA awards, obviously they take education very seriously (hence why they chose teaching).

Likes to come behind Lasko when he’s working, kiss him on his temple or cheek, and say some version of “Hi baby”.

Their walk seems “flowy, effortless, ethereal”.

Took French in school but doesn’t remember a lot.

Finds people who “get mad easily” very funny (put in quotations bc they don’t rlly get MAD their automatic response just sounds annoyed or aggressive) which makes them like Damien a lot. I think that one of their parents are like that and it always makes them laugh (lil self plug, luv ya mom).

Her name is Geneviève Fontenot 🥳 (pronounced just like how Genevieve is usually pronounced in English. Her name is just like that for the French pronunciation. And the last “t” is silent in Fontenot)

My idea that kinda ties them into the story (and creates drama) is that she is Sweetheart’s half sister and their relationship was strained (more on Sweetheart’s end bc they feel like she abandoned them by moving to Georgia. Btw I think that Sweetheart grew up in Louisiana).

Now here is the kinda “out there” part.. I think that they are a different kind of shifter, they are a Jaglion (Jaguar-lion but I think you can figure that out. Yes they are a real thing they’re just rare, obviously). Ik I sound like a crazy person but pls🙏🏾 just hear me out lol.

Sweetheart and Geneviève are same dad different mom siblings (yes they still have the same last name, neither of them wanted to change it). Their father is a stealth and Geneviève’s mother is a “Jaglion shifter”(for lack of better term) meaning that she still has a pretty good handle on stealth magic while being a shifter. Geneviève has a pretty deep voice (Like Sweetheart, not in a beatboxer way but it’s still deep) she still has a little bit of a more creole accent but she definitely leans more towards a Georgia accent.

She and Sweetheart can both sing bc they were in the church choir when they were younger.

She was a gymnast (flexibility n agility, cat, pretty self explanatory).

Definitely a switch, usually just matches energy.

Favorite color is blue but she thinks she looks best in green and black.

How they get inserted into the plot: Met Christian at some get together after moving to Dahlia for their job. They “hit it off” (not gonna go into too much bc that’s not what this posts ab lol I’ll probably write ab it later) Christian ended up bringing her to one of the solstice parties and that’s when they saw Sweetheart (again, more later).

Once the group gets to know them more Sam beats the “die hard country” allegations bc Geneviève actually knows how to line dance.

Just putting this out there but any of the “big cat shifters” (again, for lack of better term) are bigger than wolf shifters since lions and stuff are obviously bigger than wolves and considering that wolf shifters are bigger than regular wolves you can imagine how fucking massive she is.. pause (she isn’t the largest but she is definitely above average, similar to how she is in height.)
