it's been a long time in wait until i could post this piece (drawn in fall 2023), and this drawing was very formative for me - swooping lines, lineart with a loose hand, loose and less perfectionist colouring, watercolour brushes building up colour, using more texture - all of my drawings changed from here on.

For all my non Ukrainian followers, please don't stop talking about Ukraine. Especially in a time like this, when people deny the fact that russians are colonizers, imperialists who doesn't care who to kill. They colonized so many nations, that i will not be able to name them all mainly because some of them no longer exist. And now they want to take our freedom AGAIN.

It's not only about Ukraine. It's about safety. It's about human rights. Rights to have your identity, your nationality, your heritage, that will never be taken from you. Rights to be proud of who you are, without dying for it. If ukrainians aren't safe, then really, who is? Because if such a monstrosity can get away with another genocide, then what about others?
