I always feel bad for the people working at the Museum of the American Indian here, because like. You're given one building and less than five floors and you're supposed to try and explain the story of two continents spanning ten thousand years. They do what they can (rotating temporary exhibits helps a lot) but I mean, it's impossible. Can you imagine a museum dedicated to all of Europe and Asia, from Oslo to Singapore and from the first Sumerian cities to the Russo-Ukrainian War? You'd go insane.
