Either she is lying, or she is inept. I'm surprised she has any positive net worth at all with these stats. Much of her voters are in worse situations, but they get an equal vote to us to determine how we manage the finances of the common wealth. What if we brought back the basic property requirement for voting? I think a certified document from a bank that you have at least $10,000 net worth would disenfranchise the most incompetent parts of society that feel entitled to vote themselves other peoples money.
One other thing to keep in mind, most of her day to day living costs are also subsidized by the US taxpayer- healthcare and transportation for example. She doesn't have the same bills everyday Americans do, even ones making a similar yearly salary.
