New profile on artfight! Not new character but I decided to divide Vest into their undead and living forms now that I have a better ref of the undead form-

I'm particularly fond of the title for this one-

There's this undead guy who has control over the Memory element

(The main elements in my setting are Flesh, Memory, Mind, Matter and Soul)

This undead guy is cursed with crystal clear memory, meaning they can NEVER forget anything

They decided to use their infinite memory to create a mindscape (mindscapes are a big thing in the setting, and particularly strong dreams can create physical whacky illusions called Nightmares, which can become entire dungeons, but don't worry about it)

The mindscape is quite literally a sort of alternate reality simulation, a sort of utopia with it's own worldbuilding

There are simulated people that this guy made up who live and die across generations living in this wacky mindscape utopia place

There are copies of actual living people here, whose memories have been ported here as a sort of afterlife (but their souls aren't here, so are they real? are they copies? Do not worry about it)

All this data is stored within "memory crystals". Not data servers or anything just. Crystals. Flower-shaped, btw

The undead in this setting need to feed from the living (ranging from people, animals, plants, the faith of mortal, etc etc)

Turns out, the simulated people in the simulated world are simulated to such a degree, the world considers them "alive" enough for their faith to be a valid source of energy, as if they were indeed normal living people

This is an entirely high fantasy setting. No sci fi. No sir.
