Gonna start slowly posting my attacks! First up, the wandering tomb for @zephyrbug

If someone were, as a random example, say hospitalized for over two weeks with no explanation, I think that should automatically trigger a special election to replace them.

If you're still able to do your job, then prove it. And if you're not, then you're actively obstructing democracy by not stepping down.

Which is to say, that if a public official were to pass away or into a coma, and their handlers choose to obfuscate that fact, this should be seen as intentionally obstructing democracy.

Water is way more hydrating than soda, but soda is more hydrating than nothing. A balanced meal is way more nutritious than ice cream, but ice cream is more nutritious than nothing.

Something is better than nothing. Some hydration is better than no hydration. Some nutrients are better than no nutrients. Some produce is better than no produce.

In South Asia, heat weaves already claim more than 200,000 lives annually. According to a recent study, as temperature rises, the death toll might exceed 400,000 by 2045. India is at high risk. The study further reveals that over 200,000 deaths are currently attributed to severe temperatures, and this figure may nearly quadruple over the next twenty years. With deaths increasing and governments lacking strategies to protect laborers from dying, vulnerable workers across South Asia are demanding their governments provide heat wave protections.

Ashok Kumar, forty-two, a migrant worker from India’s Bihar state, has been running a barber shop on a footpath with no roof in India’s national capital, New Delhi, where temperatures exceed to 46 degrees Celsius (114.8 degrees Fahrenheit). With no shaded resting area, Kumar spends nine hours a day in a scorching heat to support his family. “Where shall I go? I have to feed my family. The government cannot install air conditioning at the roadside for us. We are dying under the blazing sun. We have no options. If we stop work, our families will die hungry,” Kumar told me. [...]

While knowing risk factors, many migrant laborers are unable to do much more than cover their heads with wet towels. “We saw how the laborer Paswan collapsed and died in India’s Nuh grain market. I can’t forget. I am working in the same market and at the same temperature. Covering my head with a wet towel gives relief. But no guarantee of life,” says Narayan Kumar, forty, a migrant worker. Given how sheer and/or skintight that outfit is to hug her bellybutton like that I'm actually shocked that Helena doesn't have cameltoe tbh. Also, I guess she feels there's no need to armor anything but her boobs.

Otherwise, she actually looks pretty decent, probably because she's like a nude anatomy practice piece with clothing coloured on top. xD

Helena could really use a cape.

You'd think that long decades of unfortunate costume choices would make higher-ups at DC and Marvel hand out notes to artists to NOT design bodypaint-thin superhero tights in colors that (depending on lightning?) blend with the character skintone, making her look like she's going commando... But nope.

Or is that ANOTHER evolution of the skin-tight, bullet-proof "batkevlar"?

I was honestly so confused by this on multiple levels:

The cuirass thing looks like it was actively designed to be harmful to the wearer, like be the opposite of protection.

What happened to Wayne enterprises they can't afford the rest of her costume? Not even some boots or a belt?!

What is the point of transforming Helena from Huntress into Batwoman if they're going to make her costume worse?

Did anyone think about how this costume would look in dramatic scenes? Seriously.

There is literally no way to present it the doesn't distract from the scene at hand to make you wonder what she's wearing and why she hasn't changed into literally anything else.
