Bojan had long since lost track of how long he'd been running, weaving his way through the narrow streets of London with the unshakable feeling that he couldn't stop.
His heart pounded wildly in his chest and despite being in good shape, he could barely catch his breath, stumbling more than once over the uneven cobblestones beneath his feet.
He knew that the moment he stopped, there would be no turning back from what awaited him. He could feel it at his backāthat cold, piercing presence following him.
When his strength finally began to give out, he darted into a nearby park and hid behind a tree, pressing a trembling hand over his mouth in a futile attempt to muffle his ragged breathing.
It was dark. The only thing illuminating the world around him was the silvery glow of the full moon.
"Are you done running yet? This is starting to get boring."
The moment those words were whispered against his ear and he felt the cold touch settling on his shoulder, he tore himself away on instinct, desperate to put as much distance between himself and the predator as possible but it was useless.
He didn't notice the fallen branch in his path until it was too late. He stumbled and crashed onto the grass, knowing there would be no escaping now.
Cold arms wrapped themselves around him before he found himself pinned against a tree once more. He struggled desperately, but the vampire's grip was like iron, impossible to break.
Now, for the first time, he could truly look at him.
It was obvious at a glance that he was something beyond human...far too perfect, far too beautiful to belong among mortals.
"Please, spare me..." Bojan pleaded, his voice trembling. "I'll do anything. Just let me go."
He clung to those words like a lifeline. He couldn't give up, not when he wanted so badly to live.
The vampire laughed softly, cruel amusement lacing the sound as he traced a sharp claw down Bojan's cheek with almost unsettling tenderness.
"And then who would be my dinner?" he murmured. "I have no intention of finding someone else...not when I already have you. Your blood will be the sweetest ambrosia of all."
Bojan felt the vampire's fangs brush against his neck, barely breaking the skin. He wasn't trying to hurt himānot yet. He was playing with him, drawing out every second of fear, savoring the terror of his prey.
The vampire leaned closer, his presence overwhelming, his voice nothing more than a quiet murmur against Bojan's ear.
"Someone seems to be enjoying this more than he wants to admit."
Heat rushed to Bojan's face, and he hated that the vampire could see how shaken he was. The humiliation burned almost as much as the fear, leaving him desperate to regain control of himself.
The vampire returned to his neck, tearing through the fabric of his shirt as he pulled him closer. Bojan tried to remain silent. He refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing how frightened he truly was, how much the situation was overwhelming him. But his body betrayed him.
His fingers tightened around the vampire's leather jacket as he struggled to steady himself. He hated that part of him wanted to know what would happen next.
Bojan didn't even realize the exact moment when the vampire finally sank his sharp fangs into his neck and began drinking his blood hungrily. He felt his consciousness slipping away, his legs growing weaker beneath him. If it hadn't been for the vampire holding him, he surely would have collapsed.
The last thing he remembered was the overwhelming sense of calm and the darkness slowly wrapping around him.
When he woke up the next morning in bed, his body ached slightly. A worried Jan was lying beside him, patiently waiting for him to open his eyes.
"I'm sorry, BojÄi. Did I go too far this time?" he asked quietly, taking his boyfriend's hand.
Yesterday, he had accidentally taken more than he should have, but he had been hungrier than he expected and the entire experience had awakened instincts he usually kept buried deep inside.
Bojan only smiled softly and pulled Jan closer, capturing him in a long, affectionate kiss filled.
"It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I love you, JanÄi."
For months, Bojan had been asking Jan to create a scene like this, to finally let him use his vampire abilities. And when Jan finally agreed, Bojan knew he had to push him just enough, to make him stop holding himself back.
Oh šboo that was so delicious, almost as delicious as Bojan's blood I'm sure
