I think I just got fired right before the end of my trial period for refusing to renounce my pro-Palestine stance?
There was a bunch of other things in the director and the general secretary's "it hurts us but we have to do this" speech, like, my style of management doesn't mesh with theirs, I was still getting contracts signed on the week the book fair took place and I didn't manage my team well, but the last and obviously most important argument was "you kept wearing your kuffiyeh even after the incident", which. Fuck them. It's Free Palestine until Palestine is free.
But any way, yeah, at the end of the month I'm back to being jobless and adrift so that'll be fun. And in the meantime I'm on forced time off.
